Our choir, Cantorion Sydney confines its repertoire to classical, folk and sacred music. We sing works from many ethnic sources that have a male voice choral tradition. The Choir brings to Sydney expressions of the rich choral traditions of European music.

The Choir has sung at numerous music festivals including Welsh gymanfas and German singfests. We have sung at weddings, dinners, charity fundraisers and conferences. The Cantorion Sydney has given concerts along with the Waverley Brass Ensemble, with the Sydney Male Voice Choir, The Australian opera Brass and with the Harp Divas.

The Choir has raised thousands of dollars for charitable purposes.

There are, in the Choir, singers from many countries including, America, Australia, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Scotland, Serbia and Wales. We currently have 45 active members and hope to grow to 60.

We men of the Choir are proud of our ethnicity and enjoy sharing our various country's music and language.

The Choir is not associated with any religious following but we practise each Wednesday evening, commencing at 6.30pm, in the Welsh Church of Sydney, St Peters Presbyterian Church, at the top of Blues Point Road, close to the North Sydney Railway Station.

Here there are fine instruments for accompanying and the acoustics are kind.

Music direction is in the hands of Dr Sion Llwyd MMus and Rachel Harding MMus.

Please see "Contact" page for membership or booking of the Choir.
